Bookcase makeover

I found these solid wood babies on Craigslist for $25 a piece (a total steal)! I sanded, primed, painted white, then painted the moroccan pattern (using a printable stencil I found online), then distressed and aged them by sanding and using a finishing wax mixed with some wood stain. I {heart} DIY!

Today both kids had good behavior in Primary according to their teachers & they earned their chocolate milk :) woo hoo! Gold stars for good behavior. Oooooh, and there was a really cool lightening storm this evening and we turned off all the lights and watched it all together. Good Sunday.

It's 6 am & I am wide awake (an unusual thing for me). So I thought,"what better thing to do than to catch up on my blog?" So, here I am! I am just going to do one long post for simplicity's sake. Let's see if I can get this done before the kids are up.........

One thing Logan loves to do is line up all of his cars in different places & configurations & then show Aaron or I. One day I had my camera out & he wanted me to take pictures. How could ANYONE say no to that?

Logan has likes to sleep with his favorite toys for a while now. This was too cute to pass up the photo opportunity.
